The team behind The Peter Mayhew Foundation has come together once again — this time through a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit called Content On Call. We’re continuing the legacy of doing meaningful, mission-driven work, from supporting Meals on Wheels to telling the story of the Heart Smiles orphanage in Ghana, where a library was built to honor Peter and Angie Mayhew’s charitable legacy. Our mission has evolved, but our heart remains the same: bring joy, tell stories that matter, and lift up those doing the work on the front lines.

Every $20 donation will receive one R2-KT & Rewind Children’s Hospital coin, and donations of $100 or more will have one regular coin replaced with the limited Silver Variant.  This “May the 4th” Star Wars Day exclusive coin run is strictly limited to 200 pieces and will not be re-printed when they sell out.

Every year, we hand-deliver toys and essentials to children’s hospitals across the country. We partner directly with Child Life programs, who’ve taught us that the right gift at the right moment can change everything. For younger kids, it might be a Baby Yoda plush after a scary procedure. For a young woman in chemo, it might be nail polish or lip gloss — a small luxury that helps them reclaim a little normalcy, femininity, and joy. These moments aren’t just gifts — they’re emotional lifelines.  Don’t worry, she gets a Baby Yoda too.

What we’ve learned is simple: joy heals. A moment of laughter, a soft toy, a gesture of care — these things don’t just distract from pain; they restore a child’s spirit. They give them something to look forward to. They make the hospital feel less cold and clinical, and a little more like home. That matters more than most people realize.

In 2023, we created Content On Call as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides donated or low-cost video production and storytelling services to other charities. Because we know that the difference between a flat fundraiser and a life-changing one is often the story. We help organizations raise awareness, inspire donors, and show the world why their mission matters. Katie Johnson’s story — and the creation of R2-KT — is one of the most meaningful stories in the Star Wars fandom, and we’re honored to partner with Albin Johnson and R2-KT to raise the spirits of children battling illness and injury.

100% of the net proceeds from the “R2-KT & Rewind Children’s Hospital Coin” will be spent in partnership with Good360.  We are able to source high-quality toys and essentials from brand’s like Hasbro and Disney at a fraction of retail cost — allowing every dollar to go further than ever before.  Every $20 coin you purchase quickly becomes $150 or more in toys for us to deliver.
